These experiences allow stillness to arise in the body & mind or self healing & restoration to occur. With ongoing sessions, these attributes are cultivated into tools & lead you to stronger sense of self.

  • Immersive Sound Bath - 60min

    Using sound, aromatherapy, sense deprivation & breath, people are brought into deep body relaxation & mind stillness.


    This is a gentle way to restore from life's stresses or calm your nervous system. A passive experience that enhances well being that is akin to deep meditation.

    This helps bring regulate the nervous system, creating a sense of safety in the body, & for restoration to occur.

    All sessions are personalized & curated. Ongoing sessions lead to a deepening the journey of self awareness & stillness of mind.

  • Sound Thearpy & Breath Work - 90min

    Balance from life's stress & to calm the nervous system.

    This session cultivate the self healing rhythms of the body & mind. Through inquiry, sound & guided breath patterns we explore what the individual is wanting to get from these modality’s. Seeing what feels out of balance, so we can start to see how things may shift. This can range from

    - stronger embodied body & nervous system awareness

    - releasing held emotions, physical tensions or anxieties

    - learning stronger coping mechanisms that are triggered by environments or situations

    - to simply exploring the sound & breath & trusting whatever comes up.


    Ongoing sessions can lead clients to deeper inner shifts with greater capacity to face their our own particular life challenges.

  • Online Breath Work - 75min

    Online format to support people on their journey.

    Using inquiry & breath patterns, we work with individual’s needs. What are looking to shift in your life? How to wish to change or want to come to terms with? This varies greatly between each person but essentially it a space where inner work can be cultivated.

    Ongoing sessions akin to the in person sound & breath work sessions can develop into a number of benefits over time, including

    - stronger nervous system regulation

    - somatic & heightened self awareness

    - resilience for people with anxiety or sensitivities triggered by certain environments or situations

    Sessions are provided online tfor a number of reasons. It can allow for people with time constraints for their well being development, suiting parents or people with a large daily workload. It also can suit people that would prefer begin their breathwork journey from the comfort & safety of your own space. It is powerful modality regardless of the screen & great shifts can unfold.

Sound & Breath work can be viewed as a type medicine. It can restore our mind, body, & spirit with the right intention & guidance.

Within a private practice at Beach Road Mind & Body or online. Ash holds one to one sessions are tailored to individual needs for greater well being & practical tools for everyday situations.

There is a range of outcomes within this work. It can be a simple as exploring the effects of sound & breath in a healing context, or it can be taken to specifically focused release of stress or trauma. For a one off session, a deeply relaxing experience is to be expected which allows time for pause & restoration. Ongoing sessions allow deep inner shifts to unfold, with time to practice and learn skills for greater wellness & life harmony.

Alongside sound & breath, Ash utilizes the modalities of music, body awareness, guided meditation & aromatherapy. Within a safe, inclusive & gentle space, this work aims to give people tools to connect more deeply to their innate wholeness. We work towards an inner environment & understanding of self healing & resilience for everyday life.

Background

Based in Hobart, lutruwita (Tasmania) Ash travels the world to learn from different cultural perspectives of sound and music.

Formally he has studied  

  • Diploma of Sound Thearpy - Shift Meditation, Amsterdam

  • Breath Work facilitator training - Alchemy of Breath , London - Ongoing

  • Meta Music with Sound Alchemist Laura Inserra 

  • Vocal technique and Korean music philosophy from Master Pan Sori Vocalist Bae Il Dong

  • Hindustani classical vocal music in Banaras , India 

  • Bachelor of Fine Arts - Sound Art and Installation at RMIT, Melbourne. 

Operating a sound therapy & breath work practice, he combines his artist-musician skills with well being practices to help people in the community. Operating in person, online & for groups, this is a base where therapeutic effects & practical tools are entwined for people looking to gain life skills for greater fulfillment.

Ash proudly identifies as neurodivergent & as an artist. His practice is suited to people that identity as on the spectrum or have inking feeling that they’re running a different operating system to most. This feeds into a great interest in enabling people to live full lives with more resilience & greater capacity for everyday contentment.

Personal study also greatly informs Ash’s practice and way of life. Webs of knowledge are drawn from Eastern philosophy’s, earth based ideologies, art therapy, deep listening, process music and learning directly from nature.
